Who Is Sean P. Jackson?
Sean P. Jackson is the Chairman of the Black Republican Caucus of Florida — the largest Black Republican organization in the state — the founder of the SPJ Criminal Justice Reform Initiative, and a Palm Beach–based civic leader and advocate for second chances. He entered public service at nineteen and has spent more than fifteen years in Florida civic and political leadership.
A Florida Civic Leader
Across three consecutive terms as Chairman, Jackson built the Black Republican Caucus of Florida into the largest Black Republican organization in the state, with a presence growing across all 67 counties. He has become one of Florida's most recognizable voices for Black conservatives, known for year-round community engagement rather than election-season visits, and has been featured in national and international coverage of Black political life.
An Advocate for Second Chances
Jackson founded the SPJ Criminal Justice Reform Initiative — known as No Man Behind — to bring receipts-first, county-level data to the conversation on incarceration and to publish plain-language guides on record sealing, voting-rights restoration, and reentry. He speaks about the justice system from lived experience, and makes the case that accountability and redemption are not opposites.
Faith and Community
A man of faith, Jackson centers his public life on family, service, and the conviction that no one should be reduced to the worst chapter of their life. His philanthropic and community work runs alongside his political leadership, year in and year out.
The Federal Case — and the Path to Restoration
Jackson has never hidden from his federal case. He walked through the justice system, served his time, and emerged determined to reform it. In June 2026 he formally filed for a full and unconditional presidential pardon, contending that his prosecution was politically motivated. He describes the filing as a path toward restoration — being made whole so he can continue his community and philanthropic work.
